Qui serait assez fou pour frustrer son égo ainsi ? <strong>J’y vois pourtant un intérêt non négligeable pour retourner vers une sphère <a href="https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extimit%C3%A9">extime</a>,</strong> retrouver un cercle de convivialité sur un espace ouvert est finalement assez compliqué et peu de services en ligne arrivent à recréer ces (tiers-)lieux physiques. Il y a bien <em>IRC</em> mais il ne s’agit pas à proprement parler de publication mais plus de discussion.</p>

  486.         <p>Je ne comprend pas en quoi limiter le nombre de followers sur Twitter change quoi que ce soit en terme d’intimité / extimité. Du moment que ton compte est public, consultable et archivable anonymement par tout le monde, le nombre de followers me semble sans importance. Un compte privé serait peut-être plus pertinent. Ou le système de cercles de Google plus, où pour chaque publication tu choisis précisément la cible. J’avoue que ce mécanisme de cercles m’a séduit aux débuts de G+, il correspondait bien à ce que je cherchais, et s’il n’y avait pas eu Google derrière, j’aurais sans doute adopté cette plate-forme.</p>

L’un d’eux par exemple, auquel je ne ferai pas de pub, se présente comme un réseau de voisins. On s’inscrit dans un immeuble et choisit ce qu’on partage avec ses voisins, son quartier, sa commune. Encore une fois, l’idée est alléchante, mais portée par des jeunes pousses qui se rêvent en nouveaux Facebook et doivent faire de l’argent. Donc je n’ai jamais donné suite.</p>

  514. <li>le cas de Twitter est particulier car les vieux tweets sont difficilement consultables justement, l’API les rend indisponibles et les moteurs de recherche ne les indexent pas ;</li>

  515. <li>le nombre de followers réduit drastiquement la portée d’un message dont le principal intérêt est l’instantanéité, c’est réducteur mais tu vois l’idée ;</li>

  516. <li>à part effet réseau relativement rare, un tweet si tu es suivi par 10 personnes ne va pas prendre la même ampleur que si tu es suivi par 10000 personnes, à tous les niveaux.</li>
