En créant un espace de discussion entre parents, cela nous a permis d’élargir aussi le champ des interactions et d’introduire le politique dans notre groupe.
C’est l’occasion de partager sur le chandail orange et comment l’aborder en famille, de faire circuler des pétitions importantes pour l’école, d’organiser des activités extra-scolaires.
Après une année et demie de Covid, on sent bien que les échanges entre personnes — qui feraient de toute façon partie du même cluster — sont plus rapides et fluides qu’à l’accoutumé.
Une autre forme d’intégration…

Au-delà des chiffres, il y a ce constat à la lecture du rapport (PDF, 4 Mo, cache) que (seule ?) la lutte fonctionne. Merci aux personnes qui sont cette lutte, qui incarnent la résistance dont nous avons besoin pour survivre.
Imaginez un peu si la grande démission se transformait en grande action collective… on pourrait appeler ça le Grand Matin pour changer un peu.

Si vous dénoncez une injustice, je vous invite à réfléchir : que voudriez-vous voir arriver ? À quoi la responsabilisation pourrait ressembler ? Si vous pensez que la personne devrait mourir, socialement ou littéralement, nous devons commencer la conversation à cet endroit-là. Sinon, nous avons besoin d’une vision de ce que pourraient être la guérison et la responsabilisation.
Il y a David qui parle de justice réparatrice/transformatrice depuis un moment, il faut que je me penche sur ce concept car j’y vois une source de compréhension et d’acceptation. En lisant la page wikipedia française, j’apprends qu’il pourrait y avoir un lien local avec l’origine de ce concept et sa potentielle mise en application.
De quoi me motiver encore davantage.

Large numbers of the Aboriginal children who were sent to residential schools never returned to their home communities. Some of these children ran away, while others died at the schools. The exact number of children who died at school may never be known, but the death rates for many schools, particularly during times of epidemic or disease, were very high.
Sometimes parents never found out what happened to their children. The students who did not return have come to be known as the Missing Children. Working with Survivors and Aboriginal organizations, the Missing Children Projects is documenting the deaths and the burial places of children who died while attending the schools.
To date the TRC has identified the names of, or information about, more than 4,100 children who died of disease or accident while attending a residential school.
