<p>This morning, I added a “Reply to Jonnie” link at the end of RSS feed posts. It’s an idea I’ve had since asking folks <a href="/blog/should-i-email-my-posts-too">if I should email my posts</a>. I included a <code class="language-markup">mailto</code> link at the end of that post, which made it really easy for folks to respond—and they did! I wish existing RSS readers would build a reply button into their apps, since the feed <em>does</em> include my email in the <code class="language-markup">&lt;author&gt;</code> metadata, but in the meantime, I think this works well. For convenience, I might consider adding it to posts on the web, too, to encourage folks to reach out when they have something to say about a post. I’m always eager to hear.</p>
